Silent Witness

So the new series of silent witness that i worked on aired its 4th episode last night, and i hope you've managed to catch an episode, and it not, they're on iplayer, go have a look! Here's a selection of some graphic bits i made that got closeups, and an email screen where you can see an (out of focus...) thumbnail passport photo of me with a centre parting. stylish.

I've been working on some stuff for the past week with Jess Lewin & George Mein for the nye party being held by popular company at the electricity showrooms in hoxton square, london. Nothing will properly be finished until the instal so i'll put some photos up when it's all finished!

a few sneaky peeks!

today i've been super busy getting things done for the show and my film neatened up ready for the showreel. its getting serious! we've had to send off our designs for the catalogue and business cards, and for our self promotion at our show, as part of 4am my super talented pal zach (who runs shirted ape) has printed a tshirt designed by tim, moira & myself for you to buy with your hard earned/government-given-to-you money. do it, all your friends will be dead jealous. hell, buy your friends one too.

Prague

since going to prague last easter i've been obsessed with eastern european architecture. this newest project i'm working on has given me the opportunity to design lots of lovely little houses inspired by that of the czech republic. mmmmm

final film

it's finally become that time. tomorrow will be my final crit for the final film. can't believe this time is actually here. i still have to colour most of my scenes, so it won't be online for a while, but here's some screenshots

set walk test

here is a little animated test i did of my character within my set (but without giving her a face). i'm not entirely happy with the lighting cause she fades into the background too much. at my crit today the tutors were discussing about maybe using a white line like i have on my animatic (which isn't on here...)

 today i've been experimenting with lighting on my set trying to get a feel for what the final piece will look like. considering light sources and shadows hurts my head. i think i prefer the 2nd one atm
