set lighting

 today i've been experimenting with lighting on my set trying to get a feel for what the final piece will look like. considering light sources and shadows hurts my head. i think i prefer the 2nd one atm

walk test

for my fmp i think that i'm going to have my main girl character as cut out paper so this was a little test i did this morning (without using a lightbox or any kind of animation program to see where the previous frame was) using 3 images to see how impossible it was. overall a SUCCESS.

today is the crit of an animation i have been working on with zach ellams, tim o'leary & moira lam since september, on a project that's been running since june. feels weird that half my year is now over! it's been so much fun though! we've got to make some final alterations and present to random house publishing next week, but for now here's some shots from the final animation
