this is for a super secret project i'm going to be working on pretty much until christmas and can't tell you anything more about for ages! this is basically all i can get away with...so...blog updates are going to be very very slow, but i promise i am doing work!

FMP YEAR 2

Today i have been mood boarding for my fmp of my second year. I'm going to animate a scene from the short story 'a diamond as big as the ritz' by f. scott fitzgerald. I want to do it in an abstract way using stop motion & hand drawn animation composited together in after effects. it's basically an excuse for me to bring together everything i'm interested in; the 20's, books, pop-ups, geometric shapes, stop motion, paper & colour. if you look though my inspiration blog, you can see all the sorts of things i look at, which generally all link to these themes.

dying my hair & making a mood board for my new lip sync project. it's basically all about planets singing in taiwenese and falling in love....yknow....normal monday afternoon stuff :):)

mood board timez. done my character designs & storyboards as well but REALLY need to get cracking on the animating. it's all going to be very simplistic though so hopefully it wont take me too long to do. i hate projects where you dont know what everybody else is doing in case i turn up and have done completely the wrong thing/no where near enough work. ugh.

also, today my sister & i started our 'lets do the ministry of sound dance workout dvd in full EVERY DAY' regime. well, we succeeded, my muscles have died, yet the sense of achievement is definitely there. GOOD TIMES
